The challenge

Global organizations often have no shortage of meaningful work. The challenge is making that work coherent and credible for the audiences who need to understand it: funders, partners, policymakers, media and the public.

This work required communications that could hold together research, program impact, partner relationships and executive visibility while respecting the people and contexts at the center of the story.

The work

1. Turning research into public understanding

Supported communications around research on girls’ education, conflict, climate and gender norms. The work translated complex evidence into clear public narratives, campaign messages and media-ready materials.

2. Strengthening executive and institutional communications

Supported executive thought leadership, board and leadership announcements, interview preparation and high-stakes organizational messaging. Each message was timed to a real decision, audience or public moment.

3. Connecting partnerships to purpose

Developed partner-centered storytelling for work with global brands and institutional collaborators, connecting shared campaigns and fundraising moments to the organization’s mission and evidence.

4. Building a more usable editorial approach

Helped strengthen the connection between narrative, audience and channel strategy so teams could make more intentional decisions about what to say, where to say it and why it mattered.

The record of that work is public: research translated into public campaigns, executive communications delivered around real moments, and partnerships connected back to mission. A selection is below.

What this work demonstrates

Clear communications begin before the writing. They require leaders to agree on what is true, which audiences matter most and what the organization is prepared to stand behind.

That is the work I bring to the Impact Narrative and Visibility Sprint: turning complex work into a credible story and a plan people can use.
